Nexus Dwelling, Located in the Core of Newark, New Jersey, focused on inclusivity and connectivity, redefining accessible living through innovative design that seamlessly integrates with its urban surroundings. Rooted in the concept of visual connectivity, this design establishes a myriad of connections tailored to enhance the unique experiences within different spaces of the unit. From the living area, strategically positioned to offer a visual link with the existing building, enabling occupants and guests to engage with the vibrant urban landscape, to the kitchen, where connections with surrounding nature and the existing structure foster culinary exploration and communal interaction, each space is meticulously crafted to blur the boundaries between indoors and outdoors while prioritizing privacy and comfort. The bedroom spaces, conceived as private sanctuaries, offer retreat and respite, with carefully curated visual connections that create intimate havens amidst the urban hustle and bustle. In essence, Nexus Dwelling epitomizes a harmonious fusion of architectural innovation and community-centric design, where every element converges to create a sanctuary that celebrates both individual privacy and collective connection with the site context.
